
Rescue Diver
The 3rd level of training is the Padi Rescue Diver Course. Its goal is to transmit the knowledge and the experience that you acquired on a fun level and to apply the safety rules. The Rescue Diver course will teach you how to avoid problems and how to handle diving emergency.
It comprises a series of demanding sessions that are extremely efficient and pleasant, so as to further develop your diving confidence.
During training you will cover:
- Self rescue and diver’s stress.
- First aid for diving.
- Emergency management and equipment.
- Swimming and non swimming assist.
- Panic management.
- Underwater issues.
- Procedures of locating missing divers.
- Rescuing unresponsive divers.
- In water mouth to mouth.
- Getting a diver out of the water.
- First aid for diving incidents.
- Accident’s scenarios.
Course Duration: 2 days of theory , 2 days of practice in the sea.
Is a perquisite to be a Padi Advanced Open Water Diver or a Padi Junior Advanced Open Water Diver (or to have an equivalent certification from another recognized organization), and to have completed a CPR course during the previous 24 months. (ex. Emergency First Response)
And if you think that time is not enough get ready from home with the Padi e-learning Rescue Diver.
Your next experience is Divemaster (professional) or/and the certification for Master Scuba Diver.
